Aisling studied medicine in University College Dublin and completed her GP training in the HSE Dublin Mid-Leinster training scheme.
Since moving to Galway in 2019 she has been working in Turloughmore Medical Centre and has also been upskilling in her areas of special interest. This includes spending time in both the family planning clinic and the sexual health clinic in Galway where she is competent in the insertion and removal of implanon devices and intrauterine coils.
She has completed diplomas in women’s health and in musculoskeletal medicine. She is also interested in medical education and is currently an assistant scheme director on the Western GP training programme.
Outside of work she likes to remain active and particularly enjoys camogie, hiking and walking her dog Ted.
