Dr Liam studied medicine in NUIG and after spending some time working in emergency medicine in New Zealand he completed his GP Training on the Western GP training programme in Galway. He has been working in Turloughmore Medical Centre since 2018 and was awarded the MICGP in 2019. He has furthered his education with postgraduate diplomas in Paediatrics and Musculoskeletal and sports medicine along with courses in Sexual Health (STiF) and ENT medicine.
Liam has a special interest in men’s health, managing chronic diseases such as diabetes, asthma and COPD along with assessing and treating muscular and joint complaints. He carries out a joint injection service within the practice.
Outside of work Liam is passionate about exercise and sport, in particular Gaelic football where he has played for over 20 years with his beloved homeclub in Shercock, County Cavan.
