Aishling McGann

Aisling is a registered general nurse who trained at Beaumont Hospital and qualified in 1999 from RCSI. She proceeded to complete her Hons Bsc and worked in both medical and surgical settings post qualification.

Her love for emergency nursing developed whilst gaining experience in acute care in both urban and remote settings in Australia. On her return to Ireland she completed a masters in Emergency Nursing from RCSI. She has worked in many diverse settings over the past 20 years and has gained vast experience from a broad range of areas.
In 2012 she moved to Galway and continued to work in hospital nursing before moving to practice nursing in Oranmore in 2019. She joined the team in Turloughmore Medical Centre in 2021.

She is trained in phlebotomy, wound management, cervical screening, childhood immunisations, ear irrigation and chronic disease management amongst other skills and has a particular interest in health promotion and patient education.
