It is our aim to manage your prescription requests safely and every request is reviewed by one of doctors before being sent onto your nominated pharmacy electronically unless requested otherwise. We may occasionally call to clarify any potential issues regarding a prescription and sometimes request that you attend for a consultation or blood test for monitoring purposes. This is done to ensure clinically appropriate monitoring and management of your condition and also that we are prescribing repeat medication in a safe manner.
Please allow 48 hours or two working days from the time you order the medication for us to arrange a medication review prior to sending your prescription to the pharmacy. You do not need to request your repeat prescription from us again unless your pharmacy advise you they need a new one. There is a fee for prescriptions for private patients.
To order your repeat prescription you can do so online via the form below or alternatively you can contact the surgery by phone on 091 797106. If you are a private patient we will send you a secure link for fee payment by text message after this phone request before you receive your prescription.
